The danger is not of the slavery
of Greeks only. But it’s also of the cultural slavery that will slowly overtake
our society. A nation is not defeated till it can safeguard its culture and
values. But can the nation torn into pieces in the name of caste and religion
be able to safeguard its culture from the invader? If the conquerors wish to
spread their roots here then they will have to attack our culture which binds
our people and they will, if we are not careful. If we let go our culture
heritage then our downfall is certain. Experience teaches us that defeated
minds, kingdoms and nations often accept the cultures and values of their
victors. Hence if this nation isn’t awakened from its stupor soon, if this
nation isn’t united then breaking away from the bondage of other religion’s
slavery will be very difficult. Education leads the path towards salvation. If
it can’t do it then it is useless. Will the people of India who seek
emancipation from life and death accept the bondage of Greeks? This nation must
be freed from Greeks and in that lies your freedom. Then awaken the sleeping
society. Bring up its latent strength. Awaken the courage which is inherent in
our society. Awaken the strength which is inherent in this nation. But
remember, freedom struggle will demand sacrifices of the youth, it’ll demand
sacrifice of your self-interest. Moreover, the awakening Goddess of War will
demand sacrifices of lives. Always remember! Awakening and freedom from
invaders is our aim. Sacrificing is only the means, not the goal. Don’t let it
go waste. Make a firm decision that the lamp of freedom must burn in every
heart and it will vanquish the invaders.
